The Greenfield Village train departs Firestone Station for its next loop around the complex. The locomotive was originally built in 1875 as an 0-4-0 for Edison Portland Cement by Manchester Locomotive Works. Henry Ford purchased the switcher in 1932 and had the locomotive rebuilt into a 4-4-0 by staff at Ford Motor Company's Rouge locomotive shop. |
