Shaky HAN
Description:
HAN 1 rolls west along the Susquehanna on a day gloomy enough to make the power blur as it goes past. The NS unit was a surprise. NYSW had enough power most of the time that they did not need to run NS or CSX power through to Jersey any more, and it had become unusual to see it in Bingamton by this time. It would have a resurgence later in the 90s as stack traffic increased, and the 20 CSX financed B 40s went back to them after the CP purchase of the D&H.
